Paintings by Kelsey Henderson
Red Door Gallery, May 19 – 27, 2005
Platonic Crush is an exhibit displaying larger than life portrait paintings of young, alluring individuals. It's a body of work exploring those visual elements of the human form which attract one to another, without focusing on sexuality. Through oil paint my work idealizes and glamorizes those I am drawn to using photographic realism, and visual connections to fashion photography.
